Objective: To collect test results of the patient with functional digestive disorders. To find out celiac disease seroprevalene and morphologically approved celiac disease prevalence for patient with functional digestive disorders using Rome III criteria. To find out differences in prevelence between patients with celiac disease and irritable bowel syndrome subtype.
Materials and Methods: The study objected 1519 patients (2010 to 2013, year), 382 of which belonged to the group of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea, 187 belong to the group of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation and 178 belong to the group of irritable bowel syndrome altered type. All patients has confirmed irritable bowel syndrome or dyspepsia and has manage some of celiac disease confirmatory methods of investigation –serology or biopsy histopathological investigation. The study was conducted in ‘’Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital’’ un digestive disease centre “GASTRO”.
