Lata diskurss valsts neatkarības atjaunošanas periodā: latviešu preses analīze (1990–1993)

Maģistra darba “Lata diskurss valsts neatkarības atjaunošanas periodā: latviešu preses analīze (1990–1993)” mērķis ir atklāt Latvijas lata diskursu latviešu presē tā ieviešanas laikā un izzināt, vai/kā tam piešķir nacionālās identitātes vērtības.
Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkots nacionālās identitātes jēdziens, kas saistīts ar simboliem un naudu, latviešu identitātes un valsts neatkarības perioda raksturojums, kas ietver arī mediju darbības novērtējumu.
Darbā izmantota vēsturiskā diskursa analīze un kontentanalīze. Pētījums liecina, ka lata diskurss valsts neatkarības sākumā ir neviennozīmīgs. Iegūtie dati vēsta, ka latviešu presē visspilgtāk izpaužas lats pilnīgas neatkarības, ekonomiskās neatkarības, neticības un nacionālā simbola diskursos.

The theoretical part of the bachelor paper views theories of national identity which is associated with the theory of symbols and money, latvian identity, the period of the renewal of Latvia’s independence, and activities of Latvian press.
The results that have been obtained by using quantitative content-analysis and the research method of analysis of historical discourse demonstrate that the lats discourse ambiguous. The main discourses are most pronounced as the lats in complete independece, economical independece, disbelief and national symbols discourses.
