Apkopotas metodes pektīna, C vitamīna, fenola savienojumu un antiradikālās aktivitātes noteikšanai. Ar aprobētajām metodēm iegūti rezultāti par dažādu Latvijā audzētu un importēto ābolu nozīmīgāko sastāvdaļu daudzumu. Evalution of chemical composition of apples. In the master paper the author has evaluated the literature concerning the fruits, apples, their chemical composition and helth benefits. The methods of determining of the content of pectin, vitamin C, phenolic compounds and radical scavening activity have been approbated. The results on the amount of more important ingredients in the apples grown in Latvia and elsewhere are obtained with the help of approbated methods.
