ARM tehnoloģijas lietošanas analīze tīkla risinājumos

Bakalaura darba ietvaros apskatīta ARM tehnoloģija. ARM arhitektūras pielietotas mobilajās ierīcēs, bet pateicoties efektivitātei aktīvi izmantota arī tīkla tehnoloģijās.
Bakalaura darba struktūra sastāv no 5 daļām. Vispirms apskatīta kopējā informācija par ARM, pēc tam aprakstīti ARM procesori un to izmantošana. Tālāk aprakstītas ARM atbalstošas operētājsistēmas un pakalpojumi un veikta analīze par ARM arhitektūras lietošanu tīklos.
Bakalaura darba rezultāts parāda, kā ARM arhitektūras lietošana tīkla risinājumos dod daudz priekšrocību, kā energoefektivitāte, datu apstrādes ātrums, izmēri un protams cena.
Vadošie procesoru ražotāji izvēlās ARM, kā nākamo soli procesora attīstībā un arī pareģo, kā pēc pieciem gadiem ARM būs vadošā tehnoloģija serveros.

Bachelor work consists from 5 parts. First of all the common information of ARM is discussed, then ARM processors and their usage is discussed, afterwards is described ARM supporting operating systems and services, and at the end of this thesis is performed analysis of ARM architecture usage in networks.
The result of bachelor's thesis show, that ARM architecture usage provides many benefits – like energy efficiency, data processing speed, size and of course price. Leading processor manufacturers choose ARM and predict that after five years the ARM will be leading technology for servers.
