Bezdarbs un trūcīgo statuss Latvijā

Abstract

Galvenā tirgus ekonomikas problēma ir bezdarbs, ar ko saskaras arī Latvijas iedzīvotāji. Bezdarbs izraisa ne tikai ekonomiskas problēmas, bet arī sociālās, tādas kā sociālā atstumtība, trūcīgo personu skaita pieaugumu.Minētā problēma traucē sabiedrībai attīstīties. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt bezdarba problēmu un izanalizēt trūcīgo personu statusu Latvijā, un uz tā pamata izdarīt secinājumus un sniegt konkrētus priekšlikumus. Pētījuma pirmajā daļā tiek aplūkoti bezdarba un trūcīgo statusa teorētiskie aspekti.Darbā tika noskaidrots bezdarba jēdziens, analizēts bezdarba veidi, cēloņi, sekas un sociālās garantijas, kā arī trūcīgas personas statusa piešķiršanas kritēriji un pabalstu veidi. Pētījuma otrajā daļā autore veltīja bezdarba un trūcīgo personu statistiskas analizēi. Pētījuma periods Latvijā no 2000. – 2011. gadam.Īpaša uzmanība pievērsta jauniešu bezdarbam ES un Latvijā, bezdarba līmenim Baltijas valstīs un trūcīgo personu statistikai. Pētījuma trešā daļa ir veltīta bezdarba un trūcīgo personu skaita samazināšanas iespējām. Pētījuma noslēgumā, darba autore balstoties uz izdarīto analīzi, izvirzīja secinājumus un sniedz priekšlikumus situācijas uzlabošanai. Atslēgvārdi – bezdarbs, trūcīgās personas statuss, nodarbinātība, sociālās garantijas. Darba apjomu sastāda 65 lappuse,13 tabulas,16 attēli.

The main problem of marke economy is unemployment, to whichfaced also Latvia population.It causes not only economic problems but also social,such as social exclusion,increasing the number of low-income people,and its effects interfere with the society evolving. The aim of the study – to investigate the problem of unemployment and to analyze the low – income status in Latvia, and on that basis to make conclusions and specific proposals. There are viewed theoretical aspects of unemployment and low-income status in the first part of the study – there is explained the concept of uneployment, types of unemploement,causes,consequences and social guarantees, as well as the low-income status granting and types of benefits. In the second part of the study the author has focused on the statistical aspects of uneployment and low-income people – there is analyzed unemployment from the year 2000 to 2011 in Latvia, youth unemployment in the EU and in Latvia, unemployment rate in the Baltic countries and the statistic of low – income people. In the third part of study are dedicated the possibilities of unemployment and low- income people decreasing. In the end of the study the author, based on the done analyze, draw conclusions and give the suggestions to improve the situation.
