Klasifikāciju un regresiju koki

Abstract

Diplomdarba ``Klasifikāciju un regresiju koki'' mērķis ir izpētīt klasifikāciju un regresiju koku pielietojamību. Darba pirmajās divās nodaļās tiek aplūkots metodes teorētiskā aspektā. Trešajā darba nodaļā teorija tiek pielietota praktiski diviem piemēriem. Viens piemērs ir veltīts klasifikāciju problēmas risināšanai, savukārt otrs piemērs - regresiju problēmas risināšanai. Praktiskajā daļā iegūtie rezultāti tiek salīdzināti ar rezultātiem, kuri iegūti ar vispārināto lineāro modeļu metodi. Darbā tiek piedāvāts lietot klasifikāciju un regresiju koku metodi ne tikai kā patstāvīgu metodi, bet arī izmantot papildus citām metodēm.

The aim of the diploma thesis `` Classification and regression trees’ ‘ is to study the applicability of classification and regression trees. The first two chapters discuss both methods in theoretical terms. The third section of the diploma thesis shows the applications of the theory on two examples. The first example is devoted to a classification problem, while second example – to a regression problem. The results obtained in both examples are compared with results obtained by using general linear models. It is suggested in the thesis to use classification and regression trees not only as independent methods, but also in conjunction with other methods.
