Purpose: Evaluate light level and adaptation influence on computerized colour vision and anomaloscope test results.
Methods: Chromatic sensitivity was determined using a computer colour vision test designed by author, tests subjects colour vision were evaluated with OCULUS HMC anomaloscope and HRR colour vision test plates. The adaptation stimulus was generated by author designed device.
Results: It was found that the brightness level has no significant impact on the computerized colour vision test and anomaloscope test results. Test stimuli ranging from 4,22 to 9,83 degrees of visual angle does not significantly affect computerized colour vision test results. It was found that there is no significant learning effect on computerized colour vision test. Short term adaptation stimuli induced changes only at retinal photoreceptor level.
Keywords: computerized colour vision test, chromatic sensitivity, adaptation, normal colour vision.
