Digitālās televīzijas standarti

Abstract

Darbs veltīts digitālās televīzijas standartiem, kuri šobrīd tiek izmantoti dažādās valstīs. Detalizēti apskatīts MPEG-2 standarts, aprakstīts kustīgu attēlu saspiešanas algoritms, kā arī MPEG transporta plūsmas veidošanas procedūra. Apskatīts pats jaunākais standarts šajā jomā MPEG-4 Part 10 (Н.264). Aprakstīta MPEG standartu nozīme digitālajā televīzijā. Darbā detalizēti aprakstīti Latvijā un Eiropas Savienībā šobrīd pieņemtie digitālās televīzijas standarti DVB-T (Terrestial), DVB-C (Cable), DVB-S (Satellite), DVB-H (Handheld). Bez tam aprakstīts Ziemeļamerikas valstīs izplatītais ATSC standarts, veikts tā salīdzinājums ar DVB standartu. Atsevišķa apakšnodaļa veltīta interaktīvās ciparu televīzijas IPTV tehnoloģijas aprakstam.

The research is dedicated to standarts of digital television, which are being used in many countries at present moment. The standart MPEG-2 is examined in details, algorythm of moving image compression is described, as well as procedure of creating MPEG transport flow is examined particulary. The Latest standart in this sphere MPEG-4 Part 10 (Н.264) is examined. Meaning of MPEG standarts for digital television is described. Standarts of digital television DVB-T (Terrestial), DVB-C (Cable), DVB-S (Satellite), DVB-H (Handheld), which are presently adopted in Latvia and European Union are described in details. In addition, standart ATSC, widely used in countries of North America is described and compared with DVB standarts. Separate chapter is dedicated to describe technology of digital interactive telelevision IPTV
