| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darba tēma ir „Zaļā tīklojuma izveides iespējas Liepājā”. Mērķis ir novērtēt zaļā tīklojuma attīstības iespējas un sniegt priekšlikumus tā attīstības iespējām Liepājas pilsētā, izstrādājot projekta skici.
Pētījuma projekta izstrādes laikā tiek ievākta informācijas par zaļā tīklojuma nozīmi pilsētā, aplūkoti Zviedrijas, Apvienotās Karalistes, ASV un Somijas piemēri zaļā tīklojuma plānošanā, tiek sniegts priekšstats par esošo situāciju Liepājas pilsētā. Būtiskākais uzsvars tiek likts uz zaļā tīklojuma vērtībām un nozīmi sociālā jomā. Rezultātā tiek sniegti priekšlikumi zaļā tīklojuma attīstības iespējām Liepājā, kas tiek izklāstīts maģistra darba pēdējā nodaļā, kā arī izstrādātas zaļā tīklojuma attīstības priekšlikumu skices.
Maģistra darbs sastāv no 5 nodaļām. Iegūtie pētījuma rezultāti, atziņas un priekšlikumi apkopoti darba secinājumu un priekšlikumu daļā.

| dc.description.abstract | The theme of the master’s work is „ Green network development potentialities in Liepaja city”. The aim of this research is to evaluate the green network foundation possibilities and to provide suggestions about the green network development possibilities in Liepāja.
There has been collected information about the significance of green network and its planning possibilities in Liepāja. I have also researched similar experiences in Sweden, the United Kingdom, the USA and Finland. Several suggestions about green network development possibilities have been offered. Suggestions are being represented in the last chapter of the work. Author also has worked out several suggestions in the manner of design for development of green network.
The master’s work consists of 5 parts, research data and suggestions.
