Abstract
Bakalaura darbā parādīta ķērpju kā bioindikatoru nozīme un izmantošanas iespējas atmosfēras piesārņojuma pētījumos. Lihenoindikācijas pētījumi Rīgā tika veikti izmantojot Gaisa Tīrības Indeksus, pamatojoties uz tiem sastādīta ķērpju zonu karte, kas atspoguļo gaisa piesārņojuma izplatības tendences. Rezultāti tika salīdzināti ar 1964., 1984. un 1998. gados veiktajiem lihenoindikācijas pētījumiem Rīgā.
