Ķīšezera nogulumu raksturojums

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir raksturot Ķīšezera nogulumu īpašības, izmantojot karsēšanas zudumu analīzi, datus par organisko vielu un karbonātu satura izmaiņām, kā arī noteikt nogulumu magnētiskās īpašības izmantojot magnētiskā jutīguma metodi, veikt datu salīdzināšanu un interpretāciju. Darbā sniegts apraksts par metodēm, kuras izmantotas pētījumā, un atspoguļoti rezultāti, kas iegūti Ķīšezera nogulumu lauka un laboratorijas pētījumos. Ķīšezera vidusdaļā, organisko vielu procentuālās vērtības nogulumos atkarībā no dziļuma ir mainīgas visā griezumā, kas liecina par vairākkārtējām sedimentācijas apstākļu izmaiņām. Organisko vielu procentuālais daudzums Ķīšezera nogulumu sastāvā palielinās sākot ar subatlantiskā laika sākumu (SA1), kas saistīts ar aizaugšanas procesu intensitātes palielināšanos. Pētniecisko daļu sastāda bakalaura darbā izmantoto materiālu un metožu apraksts, magnētiskā jutīguma un karsēšanas zudumu analīžu rezultāti, to interpretācija. Bakalaura darbs satur 49 lappuses, 22 attēlus un 8 pielikumus.

The aim of the Bachelor’s thesis is to characterise the properties of Lake Ķīšezers sediments by applying LOI analysis, the changes in the content of carbonates and organic matters, as well as, to determine the magnetic susceptibility of the sediments, to compare the obtained data and to interpretate the results. Thesis contains a description of the methods used in the investigation. The results obtained from the field and laboratory investigation of Lake Ķīšezers’ sediments are discussed. The content of the carbonates, the organic matters and the magnetic susceptibility of the sediments are variable in the entire section of sediments, which points on the changes in the sedimentation environment. The percentage of the organic matters in the content of Lake Ķīšezers’ sediments increases from the beginning of the Subatlantic period, which is related to the increasing intensity of the eutrophication processes. The Bachelor thesis contains 49 pages , 22 figures and 8 appendixes.
