Klimata pārmaiņu komunikācija interneta vidē Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā tika analizēta un raksturota Latvijas interneta ziņu portālos publicētā informācija par klimata pārmaiņām. Interneta vide spēlē aizvien lielāku lomu kā galvenais informācijas avots ar pieaugošo lomu sabiedrības rīcību ietekmēšanā. Kā viens no svarīgākiem klimata pārmaiņu komunikācijas aspektiem tika izvirzīta pārbaudītas, kvalitatīvas informācijas pasniegšana, kas veltītu vairāk uzmanības lokāli aktuālai informācijai, klimata pārmaiņu sociālā taisnīguma aspektam un konkrēto rīcību piemēriem. Kā pētījumu metodes tika izmantotas zinātniskās literatūras un dokumentu analīze, interneta plašsaziņas līdzekļu kontentanalīze un aptaujas. Pamatojoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem, tika izstrādātas klimata pārmaiņu komunikācijas attīstības vadlīnijas interneta ziņu portāliem, kas palīdzēs sniegt sabiedrībai kvalitatīvu informāciju Latvijas interneta vidē.

In this Master's Thesis information on climate change published on Latvian Internet news sites was analyzed. Internet is starting to play an increasingly more significant role in shaping the agenda and influencing public behaviour. As one of the most important aspects of climate change communication the following was proposed: distribution of verified, high-quality information that devotes more attention to local level, social justice aspects of climate change and examples of actions. The analysis of scientific literature and documents, online media content analysis and surveys were used as research methods. Based on the results of the study climate change communication guidelines for Internet news sites were developed that can be used in helping to provide the public with quality information on climate change in Latvian Internet news.
