Poe. All of Poe’s stories are considered to be mysterious and intriguing; many of his works are preoccupied with bleak and dark atmosphere, and many of them usually involve some aspect of death and madness. The reasons for such themes have been searched in the writer’s fate – full of losses and grief. Moreover, the analyses of Poe’s writings prove the fact that the writer uses similar approach in many of his works which are the representations of the author’s inner world.
