Mūzikla tulkošana: funkcionālā pieeja

Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts slavenu mūziklu dziesmu tulkošanas analīzei no angļu valodas uz krievu, latviešu un spāņu. Pētījumā tiek salīdzināti dažādu tulku latviešu, krievu un spāņu „Nauda, Nauda, Nauda” dziesmas tulkojumi paņemtie no muzikālas filmas un teātra mūzikla „Mamma Mia”, ka arī latviešu un krievu „Operas Spoks” un „Maskarāde” dziesmu tulkojumi paņemtie no muzikālas filmas „Operas Spoks”. Pētījuma galvenais mērķis bija izanalizēt dziesmu tulkojumus, ka arī noteikt to funkcijas, tipus, stratēģijas un metodes. Bakalaura darbs tika uzrakstīts pamatojoties uz grāmatām par minēto tēmu, rakstiem internetā, aptaujām, kā arī uz autora personīgām novērošanām un zināšanām. Analīzes rezultāta tika pierādīts, ka dziesmas tulkojums ir galvenokārt atkarīgs no tā funkcijas. Potenciāli lasītāji ir cilvēki, kurus interesē dotā tēma. The present bachelor paper is dedicated to the analysis of the lyrics translations from English into the Russian, Latvian and Spanish languages taken from the famous musicals. The research investigates the Russian, Latvian and Spanish translations of the songs “Money, Money, Money” made by different translators for both the musical film and the musical theatre “Mamma Mia”, as well as the Latvian and Russian translations of the songs “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Masquerade” made for the musical film “The Phantom of the Opera”. The main goal of the given study was to carry out an analysis of the translations, as well as to identify their functions, types, methods and strategies. The data for the research were collected from the books on translation, Internet articles, questionnaires, as well as from the author’s own observations and knowledge on the theme. The result of the study showed that the translations of lyrics are mainly governed by their function. To the potential readership belong people interested in the topic of translation studies as such.
