Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Autentisko materiālu lietojums mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās”. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām. Tā mērķis ir analizēt vispārlietojamas un specializētas angļu valodas mācību grāmatu ‘Inside Out’ un ‘English for Banking in Higher Education Studies’ uzbūvi, salīdzināt tajās esošo autentisko materiālu lietojuma koeficientu, kā arī izzināt tā nozīmi vispārējā svešvalodas prasmju līmeņa attīstībā. Autentisko materiālu lietojuma analīzei mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās izmantota kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze. Kopumā tika analizētas divdesmit sešas vispārlietojamas un specializētas angļu valodas mācību grāmatu ‘Inside Out’ un ‘English for Banking in Higher Education Studies’ nodaļas, un pētījuma laikā iegūtie dati tika sakārtoti divdesmit astoņās tabulās, kas iekļautas bakalaura darba pielikumā.
