| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbs „Skaitļi un to nozīme ķeltu, latviešu un krievu pasakās” ir izstrādāts, lai aprakstītu skaitļu nozīmi folkloras žanrā pasaka. Izvēlēta tēma ir aktuālā, jo šis bakalaura darbs var tikt izmantots literatūras nodarbības.
Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām. Pirmā nodaļa ir veltīta kopējai informācijai par pasakām un skaitļiem. No šīs nodaļas lasītais uzzinās pasaku un skaitļu definīcijas, ka arī to veidus. Otrā nodaļā tiek atspoguļotas ķeltu literatūras tradīcijas, aprakstot un paskaidrojot skaitļu nozīmi ķeltu pasakās. Trešā nodaļa attiecās uz skaitļu tradīcijām Latvijā. Ceturtā nodaļa ir veltīta krievu pasakām, tā atspoguļo skaitļu nozīmi krievu pasakās.
Lai veiktu šo pētījumu tika uzstādīts mērķis: izpētīt pasaku mantojumu un atrast tipiskus paskaidrojumus skaitļiem, kuri tika sastapti šajā žanrā. Lai sasniegt uzstādīto mērķi tika savākts un apstrādāts materiāls par šo tēmu. Pētījuma nobeigumā bija skaidri redzams, kuri skaitļi ir vistipiskākie katrai no kultūrām: ķeltu, latviešu un krievu.

| dc.description.abstract | The bachelor paper “Numbers and Their Meaning in Celtic, Latvian and Russian Fairy Tales” is developed to describe the problem of numbers in the folklore` s genre fairy tale. The selected theme is topical as it the given bachelor paper can be used in literary studies.
The present bachelor paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the general information about fairy tales and numbers. From this chapter the reader will find out the definition and types of fairy tales and numerals. The second chapter presents Celtic traditions in literature, in particular the representation and interpretation of numbers in Celtic fairy tales. The third chapter concerns number traditions in Latvian fairy tales. The fourth chapter is devoted to Russian fairy tales; it concerns the meaning of numbers in Russian fairy tales.
To conduct this paper the author set the goal to study the heritage of fairy tales and to find the typical interpretation of the numbers met in this genre. In order to reach the goal the material on the issue was collected and processed. By the end of the research, it is clearly seen which numbers are typical for Celtic and Latvian fairy tales.
