Lasīšanas stratēģijas akadēmiskiem nolūkiem

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Lasīšanas stratēģijas akadēmiskiem nolūkiem”. Pētījuma mērķis bija izvērtēt dažādas lasīšanas stratēģijas un noskaidrot, kuras no lasīšanas stratēģijām studenti visbiežāk pielieto. Pētījums ietver gan kvalitatīvās, gan kvantitatīvās pētījuma metodes. Lai attēlotu studentu visbiežāk praktizētās lasīšanas tendences, tika izstrādātas 105 anketas, kuras tika izdalītas Humanitāro zinātņu fakultātes Angļu filoloģijas studentiem (Latvijas Universitāte – LU), Ekonomikas un vadības fakultātes Ekonomikas studentiem (Latvijas Universitāte – LU) un Sociālo zinātņu fakultātes Organizāciju un sabiedriskās pārvaldes socioloģijas studentiem (Latvijas Lauksaimniecības Universitāte – LLU). Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja galvenās lasīšanas tendences un ieradumus, izvēloties lasīšanas stratēģijas akadēmiskā vidē; kā arī apliecināja, ka atbilstoša stratēģiju izvēle var atvieglot un veicināt lasīšanas izpratni un teksta interpretāciju. The theme of the current bachelor theses is “Reading Strategies for Academic Purposes”. The objective of the present research was to examine different reading strategies and clarify which of the reading strategies are most often applied by students. The research comprises both qualitative and quantitative research methods. In addition, 105 questionnaires were designed to reflect reading preferences mostly practised by the English Philology students at the Faculty of Humanities (University of Latvia – LU), the Economy students at the Faculty of Economics and Management (University of Latvia - LU) and the Sociology of Organizations and Public Administration students at the Faculty of Social Sciences (Latvia University of Agriculture - LLU). The findings presented the main tendencies and preferences of choosing the reading strategies within academic environment, as well as confirmed that a proper selection of different strategies can facilitate and stimulate the reading comprehension and text interpretation.
