Pakāpeniskas atbildības nodošanas modeļa izmantošana angļu valodas kā svešvalodas mācīšanā

Pēdējo desmitgažu laikā valodas komunikatīvais aspekts ticis atzīsts par neatņemamu svešvalodas apguves sastāvdaļu. Šajā pētījumā aplūkots kā Pakāpeniskas Atbildības Nodošanas (PAN) modelis var tikt pielietots angļu valodas kā svešvalodas mācīšanā, lai vecinātu komunikatīvo kompetenci. Pētījumā tika aplūkota pieejamā literatūra par komunikatīvo kompetenci un PAN modeli, kā arī tika novērots kā modelis tiek pielietots, mācot svešvalodu pamatskolā. Rezultātā tika atklāts, ka ar PAN modeļa palīdzību tiek veicināti visi komunikatīvās kompetences aspekti, it īpaši gramatiskā kompetence, tādējādi apstiprinot šo modeli kā piemērotu komunikatīvai valodas mācīšanai. In the past decades the communicative aspect of language has been acknowledged as an integral part of foreign language teaching. This paper concerns the application of the Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR) model in EFL classroom in order to promote communicative competence. The investigation involved library and online research of the literature on communicative competence and GRR model and a direct observation of the application of the model in an elementary school classroom. The results showed that the GRR model indeed does promote all aspects of communicative competence, especially grammatical competence, thus validating this model for communicative language teaching.
