Telpas un laika leksikas kognitīvās un formālās īpašības angļu un krievu valodās

Abstract

Šis diplomdarbs aplūko telpas un laika koncepcijas, pētot telpas un laika konceptuālo struktūru lingvistiskos attēlojumus un atklājot to fundamentālās sistēmas, balstoties uz kurām, šie koncepti tiek izteikti valodā. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt šo divu koncepciju organizācijas struktūras, izpētot līdzības un atšķirības starp telpas un laika koncepcijām, kas tiek panākts analizējot un salīdzinot identiskās telpas un laika prepozīcijas angļu valodā in un at ar prepozīcijām krievu valodā, kam ir līdzīgas semantiskās īpašības. Pētījuma rezultātā tiek secināts, ka pastāv kā līdzības, tā arī atšķirības identisko telpas un laika prepozīciju in un at semantiskajās īpašībās, kas liecina par to, ka laika koncepcijai vismaz daļēji piemīt metaforiska telpiskās koncepcijas struktūra. The present research deals with the concepts of space and time, investigating the linguistic representations of the conceptual structures of space and time revealing the fundamental systems in terms of which they are expressed in language. The goal of the present research is to discover the organizational structures of these two concepts, focusing on the exploration of similarities and differences between the two domains, which is achieved by the analyzing and comparison of the identical English spatial and temporal prepositions in and at and their Russian counterparts. The research draws the conclusion that there are both similarities and discrepancies of the semantic properties of identical space and time prepositions in and at, which give evidence about at least partial space-based metaphorical structure of the concept of time.
