Filmu tulkošanas problēmas. Spēlfilmas “Typisch Sophie” pēc Brigitas Milleres darba tulkošanas problēmas

Abstract

Šī darba tēma ir „Filmu tulkošanas problemātika. Izmantojot daudzsēriju mākslas filmu „Sofija“. Režisore Brigite Millere.“ Darba mērķis bija noteikt filmu tulkošanas problemātiku, apskatot tikai tos gadījumus, kas bija sastopami minētās mākslas filmas pirmajā sērijā. Darba uzdevumos ietilpa gan rakstiskā teksta, gan filmas analīze, gan arī problemātisko gadījumu detalizētāka aprakstīšana. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika veikta arī neliela izpēte, intervēti filmu tulkotāji un ierunātāji. Viedokļa pamatošanai izmantoti gan dažādas publikācijas un interneta avoti, gan arī piemēri no citām filmām. Darba gaitā tika secināts, ka filmu tulkošana ir sarežģīts process, kurš ietver ne tikai personvārdu un reāliju tulkošanu, terminus un dažādus valodas slāņus, bet arī tādus aspektus, kā, piemēram, teksta saskanību ar bildi. Darbs tiek uzskatīts gan par pamatu apjomīgākam izpētes darbam, gan par ieguldījumu filmu tulkošanas teorijas attīstībā.

The theme of this paper is „The Problems of the Film Translation. As Example Feature Film „Typisch Sophie“. Directed by Brigitte MŅller.“ The aim of this paper is to define the problems of the film translation. Examined are only those cases, which can be found in the first episode of the abode mentioned film. The task of this paper is both the analysis of the written text and the film, and also the detailed description of the problematic cases. To reach this aim there was made also a small research, where interviewed both the translators and off-speakers. There were used different publications, Internet sources and also examples of other films. In the process of this paper I came to the conclusion that the translation of films is very complicated process, which includes not only the translation of person’s names and cultural words, terms and different language specification, but also the consistency of the text and the picture. This paper is considered to be both a base for a greater paper, and an investment in the development of the film translation theory.
