Abstract

Maģistra darbā tiek apskatītas Franca Kafkas vēstules Felicei. Maģistra darba mērķis ir analizēt un izpētīt Franca Kafkas korespondenci ar Felici Bauer un sniegt ieskatu par galvenajām tēmām kas tiek apspriestas vēstulēs. Maģistra darbs ietver informāciju ne tikai par Kafkas savstarpējo korespondenci ar Felici Bauer, bet arī par 20 gs. nozīmīgu darbu - Kafkas vēstuli tēvam. Šī vēstule ir mēģinājums tikt galā pašam ar sevi un distancēties no tēva. Vēstule tēvam sniedz liecības par divām svarīgām Kafkas dzīves komponentēm: viņa attieksmi pret laulību un rakstniecību. Darbā tiek arī apskatīta tēma – vēstule kā autobiogrāfijas avots. Pētot vairāk kā 500 vēstules un pastkartes tika atklāts sarakstes mērķis, kas atspoguļo Franca Kafkas dzīves uztveri, nostāju pret sievietēm un saviem literārajiem darbiem.

Discussed in the Master Paper are Franz Kafka’s letters to Felice. On the basis of analyzing Franz Kafka’s and Felice’s correspondence the aim of the Master Paper is to report about the main issues in letters. The Master Paper includes information not only about Kafka’s and Felice’s correspondence but also about “Letter to His Father”. In the letter, Kafka responds to a question of his father, Hermann Kafka, why he maintains to be afraid of him. He then recapitulates his life with his father and thereby shows that he has always been a tyrant for him. Also discussed are letters as autobiographical source. The research from 500 letters and postcards resolve the aim of correspondence what disclose Franz Kafka’s way of life, position against women and his literary works.
