Rakstīšanas mācīšana medicīnas studentiem, izmantojot žanra pieeju

Maģistra darbā izpētīta žanra pieeja rakstīšanas mācīšanā. Pētījums tika veikts, lai uzsvērtu šīs pieejas priekšrocības mācot rakstīšanu angļu valodā medicīnas studentiem. Par piemēru tika izmantotas slimības vēstures. Tika apspriesta attiecīgā literatūra, veikta medicīnas studentu valodas vajadzību analīze un analizēti autentiski teksti no dažādām perspektīvām. Tika veiktas intervijas ar Latvijas ārstiem, kuri pašlaik strādā Lielbritānijā, un šī informācija tika izmantota mācīšanas metodikas pilnveidē, kas tika ņemta par pamatu, lai izstrādātu stundu plānus. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina žanra pieejas efektivitāti, pierādot, ka ir iespējams to izmantot, mācot studenus rakstīt slimības vēstures, kā arī citus medicīniska rakstura tekstus.

The research was conducted in order to highlight the strengths of this approach and its implementation to teaching writing to medical students on the example of writing medical case histories. The relevant literature was discussed, the learner’s needs analysis was conducted, the authentic texts were analyzed from various perspectives, the interviews with Latvian doctors working in the UK were held, and the received information was used in the development of the teaching methodology of writing case histories, on the basis of which a set of lessons was designed. The results of the study proved the efficiency of the genre approach, demonstrating that is can be used for teaching writing case histories and other medical texts.
