Intertekstualitāte, parodija un vizualitāte postmodernajā bērnu literatūrā

Šis maģistra darbs ir veltīts, lai izpētītu veidus, kā postmodernajām bilžu grāmatām ir izdevies gan izaicināt tradicionālo bērnu literatūru ar tādām metafikcijas iezīmēm kā intertekstualitāte, parodija un teksta „iziešana no rāmjiem”, tajā pašā laikā piedāvājot rotaļīgu un interaktīvu lasīšanas pieredzi. Šī darba rakstīšanas iemesls ir pieaugošā mūsdienu pasaules, tajā skaitā Interneta, televīzijas un masu mediju ietekme uz bērnu literatūru, kā arī bilžu grāmatu unikālās īpašības, kas ļāvušas tām noturēt lasītāju interesi pat mūsu globalizētajā sabiedrībā. Postmodernisms ir izveidojis un pārveidojis bērnu literatūru, radot jaunu grāmatu veidu – postmodernās bērnu bilžu grāmatas. Bilžu grāmatas ir unikāla bērnu literatūras daļa, kas sevī ietver divas izteiksmes formas – vārdus un bildes, radot kopēju sinerģiju, kas nav raksturīga nevienam citam daiļliteratūras veidam.

This Thesis is devoted to exploring the ways into which postmodern children’s picturebooks have managed to challenge the conventional children’s texts through such metafictive devices as intertextuality, parody and frame–breaking, at the same time providing a playful and interactive reading experience. The reason for writing the present Thesis is the increasing influence of contemporary world, including the Internet, television and mass media, on children’s literature, and the unique character of picturebooks that have managed to retain readers’ interest in our globalised society. Postmodernism has shaped and reshaped the children’s literature, creating a new type of books, the postmodern picturebooks. Picturebooks are a unique area of children’s literature, combining two forms of representation – words and images, creating a synergy that is not characteristic to any other type of fiction.
