Bakalaura darbā „"LinkedIn" loma Latvijas studentu sociālo mediju lietošanas paradumos” aplūkots mērķa grupas kopējās interneta un sociālo mediju patēriņa tendences, komunikācijas rīku lietojums, vietnes „LinkedIn” loma Latvijas studentu sociālo mediju lietošanas aspektā un sava personīgā sociālā zīmola apzināšanās. Darbs balstīts uz četrām galvenajām daļām – teorētisko, metodoloģisko, empīrisko un rezultātu. Pamatojoties uz pieejamo teorētisko bāzi saistībā ar attiecīgo tēmu, tika veikta fokusa grupas diskusija, kontentanalīze, anketēšana.
Rezultāti sniedz padziļinātu ieskatu Latvijas studentu interneta un sociālo mediju lietošanas ikdienas norisēs, komunikācijas rīku izmantošanā un demonstrē vietnes „LinkedIn” lomu Latvijas studentu sociālo mediju lietojumā. „LinkedIn” lietojums Latvijas studentu vidū akcentē iespējamās attīstības tendences un patēriņa pieauguma iespējas.

The Bachelor thesis consists of four main parts – theoretical, methodological, empirical and results. Based on the theoretical assets about the certain issue, focus group discussion, content analyse and survey have been accomplished and analysed.
The results provides deepened knowledge and outlines the usage of internet and social media, communication tools and social media „LinkedIn”. The usage of “LinkedIn” web site between Latvian students emphasizes potential development tendencies and the opportunities for the increase of the consumption.
