Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apzināt iespējamos ētisko normu pārkāpumus vai iespējamos apdraudējumus drukātajā medijā attiecībā pret politiķi, noskaidrot, vai ir iezīmējamas tendences drukātajos medijos attiecībā pret politiķiem un to goda un cieņas apdraudējumu, kā arī pētnieks par mērķi ir izvirzījis atbildēt uz sev izvirzīto jautājumu – vai drukātajā presē vispār pastāv problēma – ētisko normu neievērošana attiecībā pret politiķa profesiju.Darba uzdevumi ir ar teorētisko bāzi skaidrot ētikas nepieciešamību savstarpējā cilvēku attieksmē, tiks uzsvērti iespējamie riski ētisko normu neievērošanas gadījumā, kā arī pastiprinot teoriju tiks veikta drukāto mediju analīze.
