E-vides pieejamība iedzīvotājiem ar redzes traucējumiem Latvijā

Abstract

Pētījuma problēma ir tehnoloģiju nepietiekama izmantošana cilvēkiem ar redzes traucējumiem. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāpēc cilvēki ar redzes traucējumiem neizmanto informācijas tehnoloģijas un tīmekļa vietnes reģionu galvenajās bibliotēkās un izanalizēt, vai reģionu galveno bibliotēku tīmekļa vietnes atbilst e – vides pieejamības starptautiskajiem standartiem. Pēc aptaujas rezultātiem reģionu galvenajās bibliotēkās informācijas tehnoloģijas izmanto 17 pastāvīgie bibliotēkas apmeklētāji. Lai cilvēki ar redzes traucējumiem aktīvāk izmantotu informācijas tehnoloģijas reģionu galvenajās bibliotēkas ir, nepieciešams cilvēkus ar redzes traucējumiem informēt par tehnoloģiju pieejamību. Tika izvērtētas bibliotēku tīmekļa vietnes. Jāsecina, ka tās daļēji atbilst e – vides pieejamības starptautiskajiem standartiem. The problem of the research is insufficient technology use for people with vision impairment. The aim of the research is to study why people with vision impairment do not use information technolgy and Web sites and analyze whether the Web sites of the main regional libraries comply with the international standarts of e – environment access. According to the results of the polls there are 17 regular library users of information technology in the main regional libraries. In order to promote people with vision impairment to use information technolgy more, it is necessary to inform them about the accessibility of information technology in the main regional libraries. After the analysis of library Web sites it was concluded that they partly comply with the international standarts of e – environment access.
