Daudzfunkcionālā PDF lasītāja izstrāde planšetdatoram iPad

Abstract

Darba teorētiskais mērķis ir izpētīt mobilo ierīču vietu un perspektīvas lielajiem uzņēmumiem. Tiek definētas galvenās prasības mobilajām lietotnēm, kas ir orientētas uz uzņēmumiem. Tiek skaidrots, kāpēc dokumentu lasītājam ir tik liela nepieciešamība uzņēmumu lietotnēs, un tiek definētas koncepcijas un nepieciešamais funkcionāls nākotnes produktam. Darba praktiskais mērķis ir, balstoties uz produkta prasībām, izprojektēt un izstrādāt PDF lasītāju (“Cabinet”) priekš iPad. Šajā darbā tiek aprakstīta Cabinet projektēšana, implementēšana, testēšana un rezultāti. Nobeigumā apkopoti secinājumi, kuri tika veikti lietotnes izstrādes laikā. Tiek aprakstīts lietotnes pielietojums šobrīd, kā arī tiek aprakstīti nākotnes plāni un paplašināšanas perspektīvas. Šī maģistra darba rezultātā tika izpētīti mobilie risinājumi lielajiem uzņēmumiem, platforma iOS un izstrādāta Cabinet lietotne, kura jau apmērām pusgadu darbojas trijās iPad lietotnēs priekš Swiss Re kompānijas kā modulis ērtai dokumentu lasīšanai.

This work’s theoretical purpose is to conduct a research on mobile devices applications and perspectives in enterprise sphere. Main requirements for enterprise mobile applications are defined. A brief overview of the main enterprise mobile application types is given and a conclusion that most of them need document reading functionality is made. This paper explains PDF reader importance in enterprise solutions and defines concepts and necessary functionality for future product. This work’s practical purpose is to design and develop a PDF reader (named “Cabinet”) for iPad based on the product requirements. This work describes Cabinet designing, implementing, testing and presents the final project results. In the conclusion there is a summary of all main findings acquired during the process of product implementation, as well as a brief overview of all the current reader’s applications in other products and future plans and perspectives. As a result, the mobile solutions for the enterprise sphere is researched and a Cabinet application is implemented, which has been successfully working as part of three other iPad applications for Swiss Re company for about half a year and continues to improve.
