Autore veikusi pētījumu par kreditēšanas galvenajiem problēmjautājumiem Baltijas valstīs un veikusi šo problēmjautājumu salīdzinošo analīzi. Analizējot literatūras avotus par izvēlēto tēmu, pētot informāciju internetā, kā arī analizējot Latvijas likumdošanu, autore secina, ka tēmas aktualitāte ir neapšaubāma. Šobrīd visas trīs Baltijas valstis atkopjas no krīzes, attīstās un sāk parādīt sevi kā konkurētspējīgas Eiropas Savienības valstis. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt kredītiestāžu politiku un kredītriska pārvaldīšanas metodes, kā arī noteikt galvenās problēmas, kas kavē šīs sfēras attīstību.
Autore pētījuma rezultātā definēja nozīmīgākās problēmas, kas saistītas ar kreditēšanu Baltijas valstīs un ir salīdzinājusi situāciju visās trīs valstīs, tai skaitā analizējusi statistikas datus un banku finanšu pārskatus. Autore izteikusi savus priekšlikumus problēmu risināšanai.

The author conducted a study on the main challenges of the lending in the Baltic countries and has made the comparative analysis of the credit issues. Analyzing the sources of literature on the chosen topic, researching information on the Internet, as well as analyzing Latvian legislation, the author made a conclusion that this topic is undoubtedly actual. Currently, all three Baltic countries are recovering from crisis, and beginning to develop themselves as competitive countries in European Union. This study aims to analyze the policies of the banking sector and credit risk operating methods, as well as to identify the main problems that hinder the development of this sphere.
The author of the study identified the major problems associated with credits in the Baltic States and has compared the situation in all three countries, by analysing the statistical data and the data of the bank financial statements.
