Tādēļ informācijas sistēmu izstrādātājiem nepieciešams nepārtraukti domāt par informācijas sistēmu izstrādē lietotajiem standartiem, metodoloģijām, kā arī tehnoloģiskajiem un pārvaldības risinājumiem ne tikai pašā uzņēmumā, bet gan arī konkrētā projekta ietvaros.
Maģistra darba mērķis ir programmatūras izstrādes metodoloģijas izvēle un pielāgošana projekta vajadzībām.
