Ārvalstu tiešo investīciju loma Latvijas ekonomikas attīstībā

Abstract

Latvijā līdz ar pārejas procesa uz tirgus ekonomiku uzsākšanu sākās pastiprināta ārvalstu kapitāla ieplūde. To sekmēja finansu plūsmu liberalizācija un izveidots diezgan labvēlīgs ārvalstu investīciju klimats. Maģistra darba mērķis ir balstoties uz teorijas atziņām novērtēt ārvalstu tiešo investīciju lomu ekonomikā, atklāt problēmas saistītās ar ĀTI piesaisti Latvijā un izstrādāt priekšlikumus tas risināšanai. Darba rezultātā tika pierādītas izvirzītās hipotēzes: Ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas gan pozitīvi, gan negatīvi ietekmē valsts ekonomiku; mērķtiecīga ārvalstu tiešo investīciju piesaiste sekmē valsts ekonomikas attīstību.

Due the beginning of the transition period to market economy Latvia becomes the attractive place for foreign capital inflow. The liberalization of the financial flows and the enabling environment for the foreign investments were the most important attractiveness factors. The aim of the research is to find out the role of foreign direct investments in Latvian economics by establishing the problems and recommend the solution’s opportunities to resolve them. The hypothesis of the research was proved: Foreign direct investments have a positive and negative impact on national economics; the purposeful attraction of the foreign direct investments promotes the development of national economics.
