Abstract
Aim of this master thesis was to estimate hyperspectral imaging method for diagnostics of skin pathology. The parameters that characterize melanin, oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin concentration in pigmented skin pathology were calculated from image cubes acquired by means of hyperspectral camera Nuance EX. Overall 24 pigmented skin pathologies were examined and one of them was malignant. To find the required parameter values, the data were processed by regression analysis of Matlab. The results show that hyperspectral imaging method is applicable for diagnosis of skin pathologies. The hromophore parametric maps of relative chromophore, concentration changes in pathology and the correlation between the chromophore - oxyhemoglobin, deoxyhemoglobin and melanin - seems to have potential for diagnostics. It is possible to get the maps of parameters that characterize skin chromophore concentrations and calculate the relative concentration values of pigmented pathologies.
