Darba mērķis: Izmantojot adaptīvās optikas iekārtu, iegūt tīklenes struktūru attēlus, novērtēt to izmērus.
Rezultāti: Izveidotā iekārta dod iespēju iegūt tīklenes fotoattēlus, kuros var izšķirt apmēram 20 Ām sīkas tīklenes struktūras 2,5° laukumā The master thesis is written in Latvian, on 60 pages, it contains 39 pictures, 59 references.
Purpose: To obtain images of retinal structures, to evaluate their size, using an adaptive optics system.
Methods: Equipment that allows acquiring retinal images and a device for illumination of the retina were incorporated into an adaptive optics system. The retina of an artificial eye and the retina of a real eye were photographed using the equipment described. The cornea, the lens and the crystalline of the eye are the main factors causing optical aberrations. Connecting in the shape of a closed loop a Shack – Hartmann wave front sensor with a deformable mirror allows compensation of the curved wave front, and, incorporating a possibility of acquiring images into this system allows achieving high quality images of retinal structures with a high resolution.
Results: The equipment allows acquiring photographs of the retina where as small retinal structures as 20 μm can be distinguished in a 2.5 degrees square.
