Makrofītu izmantošana Mergupes ekoloģiskās kvalitātes novērtēšanā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noteikt Mergupes ekoloģisko stāvokli, par kritēriju izmantojot augstākos augus. Lai šo mērķi sasniegtu, tika veikta upes makrofītu izpēte 2007. un 2008. gada vasarās. Tā ietvēra upes apsekošanu, reprezentatīvo posmu izvēli, aizauguma pakāpes un sugu sastāva noteikšanu. Darba teorētiskajā daļā apkopota literatūra par Latvijas upēs augošiem ūdensaugiem, likumsakarībām, kas nosaka to izvietojumu un sastopamību. Īsumā apskatīti arī normatīvie akti, kas paredz augstākos ūdensaugus izmantot kā indikatorus upes kvalitātes noteikšanā. Literatūras apskats sastāv no 3 daļām - Latvijas upēs augošo ūdensaugu vispārēja raksturojuma un makrofītu ietekmējošo faktoru apraksta, ūdeņu ekoloģiskām kontroles metodēm un Lielās Juglas pietekas - Mergupes apskata. Nodaļā „Materiāli un metodes” aprakstīta upes apsekošanas kārtība, biotopu raksturošana, ūdensaugu sugu un aizauguma pakāpes noteikšana, kā arī makrofītu biotisko indeksu aprēķināšana. Nodaļā „Rezultāti un to analīze” aplūkots 2007. un 2008. gadā veiktais pētījums un tā rezultāti. Darbs sastāv no 52 lapaspusēm, 10 attēliem, 15 tabulām un 45 literatūras norādēm. Pielikumos – Mergupes biotopu raksturojošie rādītāji, ekoloģisko indeksu aprēķini, foto attēli, Mergupes baseina karte, STAR protokola paraugs, Mergupē konstatēto makrofītu sugu saraksts. The aim of the bachelor paper is to define the ecological condition of the Mergupe, using the vascular plants as the criteria. To achieve this aim the analysis of the river’s macrophytes have been done in summer 2007 and 2008. It was necessary to study the river carefully, to state the level of eutrophication and to choose the representative parts of the river. In the bachelor paper there is the theoretical part containing the literature about the waterplants in rivers of Latvia and conditions which define where the waterplants in the river grow. There is a short summary of legislation, which allows to use the vascular plants as the indicators for defining the quality of the river. Summary of literature consists of 3 parts – the characteristics of waterplants in Latvia and the description of factors which influence macrophytes, the methodology of hidroecological water control and the Mergupe description. In the chapter of methods and materials there are the general process of the research, characterization of biotopes, macrophyte species and percentage cover estimation and mathematical formulas, which have been used in the process of defining the river’s ecological quality. In the chapter of results and analyses there are the results of the survey done in summer 2007 and 2008. The bachelor paper consist of 52 pages, 10 illustrations, 15 tables and 45 references. There are 6 appendices: characterization of biotopes, mathematical calculus of ecological indexes, photographies of the Mergupe, map of Mergupe basin, example of STAR protocol and occurrence of species in the river Mergupe.
