Projektu darbs kā komunikatīvās kompetences attīstītājs vidējā valodas prasmju līmenī

Šis izpētes darbs pārspriež projektu darbu kā bieži pielietotu mūsdienu angļu valodas mācīšanas metodi, kas veiksmīgi saskan ar vidusskolēnu vajadzībām un interesēm, sniedzot viņiem iespēju komunicēties veidā, kas ir pēc iespējas tuvāks dabiskajai videi. Tādejādi, šī pētījuma mērķis ir identificēt veidus, kādos projektu darbs var veicināt komunikatīvās valodas kompetences attīstību vidējā valodas prasmju līmenī, analizējot vairākas atbilstošās teorijas un modeļus, kā arī veicot eksperimentālu pētījumu. Darba rezultāti parāda, ka vidusskolēni ir spējīgi izmantot dažādas interaktīvās stratēģijas un prasmes, lai sazinātos svešvalodā, līdz ar to, ja skolotājs izvēlas komunikācijas nodarbību ņemot vērā skolēnu vajadzības un intereses, tā var palīdzēt viņu komunikatīvās kompetences veicināšanā. The present Paper discusses the project team-work approach as a commonly used contemporary English language teaching method, which successfully complies with the senior pupils’ needs and interests by allowing them to communicate in a way closest to the natural settings. Hence, the purpose of the Paper is to identify ways how project team-work can facilitate the development of communicative language competence at the Intermediate level by analysing a number of related theories and models as well as conducting a pilot study. The results show that the senior pupils are able to apply different interaction strategies and skills to communicate in a foreign language, thus if a teacher chooses the topic of a communicative activity by considering the learners’ needs and interests, it can aid in facilitating their communicative language competence.
