Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Komiskais Oskara Vailda komēdijā 'Cik svarīgi būt nopietnam'” aplūko līdzekļus, ar kuru palīdzību lugā tiek radīts komisms. Šis pētījums piedāvā šo līdzekļu, kas parasti tiek lietoti komiska darba radīšanai, sarakstu un paskaidrojumu; tai skaitā ir ironija, humors, hiperbola, vārdu spēle utt. Šī darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka tādi plaši pazīstami stilistiski paņēmieni, kā ironija un humors, ir galvenie līdzekļi, kas rada komisma efektu šajā komēdijā. The present bachelor thesis "The Comic in Oscar Wilde's Comedy 'The Importance of Being Earnest'" investigates the stylistic devices with the help of which the play becomes comic. The research offers the ennumeration and explanation of these means usually applied for creating a comic piece of writing, some of them being irony, humour, hyperbole, pun, etc. It aims at proving that such most widely known stylistic devices as irony and humour are the central means of creating the comic effect in the comedy. The research can be used for those investigating the nature of the comic in other comedies. It may also be of use for those who wish to understand the message of the analysed comedy deeper.
