Bakalaura darbs veltīts problēmu izpētei, kas sastopamas probācijas terminu pārneses procesā no angļu valodas latviešu valodā. Pētniecības darba mērķis ir analizēt terminoloģijas pārneses veidus no avotvalodas mērķvalodā, pievēršoties terminiem, kam patlaban vēl nav ekvivalentu latviešu valodā. Īpaša uzmanība tiek veltīta ekvivalences problēmai tulkojumos un terminoloģijas pārnesē. Pētījuma rezultāti var tikt izmantoti turpmākos ar probāciju saistīto dokumentu un materiālu tulkojumos, kā arī probācijas darbinieku apmācībā.

The purpose of the research paper is to analyse ways of transferring terminology from the source language into the target language (avotvalodas mērķvalodā) focusing on terms of probation that currently do not have any equivalent in Latvian. Specific attention is paid to the problem of equivalence in translations and the transfer of terminology. Research findings can be used in subsequent translations of documents and materials on probation as well as in the training of probation officers.
