Abstract
Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Tendences ar mūsdienu mūziku saistīto terminu pārnesē no angļu valodas latviešu valodā”. Mūsdienu mūzikas pirmsākumi meklējami 18. un 19. gadsimtā, tomēr laika gaitā tā ir ievērojami attīstījusies, radot jaunus konceptus, kuriem nepieciešama jauna terminoloģija angļu un latviešu valodā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt tendences mūzikas terminu pārnesē no angļu valodas latviešu valodā. Darbā sniegts pārskats par mūzikas terminoloģijas attīstību latviešu valodā, salīdzinoša analīze par mūzikas terminu lietojumu profesionāļu ikdienas saziņā.
The theme of this Bachelor thesis is Trends in the Transfer of Terms Pertaining to Contemporary Music from English into Latvian. Contemporary music dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries, however, it has evolved dramatically over time, adding numerous concepts requiring new terminology in English and in Latvian. The aim of this paper is to examine the transfer of music terms from English into Latvian. The paper presents an overview about the development of music terminology in Latvia, as well as comparative analysis of the usage of music terms in every-day communication by professionals of the trade.
