Abstract
Darba mērķis ir notikumu, kas ir ietekmējuši valodas politiku, apraksts un analīze, kā arī šo notikumu izskatīšana no to ietekmes uz mūsdienu valodas politiku Somijā redzes viedokļa. Šajā nolūkā tiek veikts valodas politikas salīdzinājums Somijas un Latvijas teritorijās noteiktā laika periodā.
The Thesis is aimed at describing and analyzing the events that have influenced the language policy, as well as analysis of the influence of such events from the aspect of modern language policy in Finland. Comparison of the language policy on the territory of Finland and Latvia, respectively, is therefore made in respect of certain period of time.
