Lasīšanas stratēģiju mācīšana vidusskolā

Abstract

Diplomdarbā ir izpētīta lasīšanas stratēģiju mācīšanas ietekme uz skolēnu teksta izpratni vidusskolā.

Pētījuma ietvaros tika veikta literatūras avotu studēšana, izskaidroti moderno lasīšanas teoriju pamatprincipi. Lasīšanas svešvalodā process tika izpētīts kā augstākās nervu sistēmas darbības funkcija un no valodniecības viedokļa. Teorētiskā daļa sniedz atzinumus par lasīšanas stratēģiju izcelsmi, daudzveidību un dažādām pieejām to klasifikācijai, kā arī ieteikumus par pieeju lasīšanas stratēģiju mācīšanai svešvalodas kursa ietvaros.

Pētījuma praktiskajā daļā ir sniegta informācija par pētījuma gaitu un lasīšanas stratēģiju praktisku ieviešanu angļu valodas stundās. Darbam pievienoti eksperimenta gaitā izstrādāti metodiskie materiāli un lasīšanas stratēģiju apgūšanu veicinoši uzdevumi skolēniem. Skolēnu lasīšanas iemaņu attīstība tika kontrolēta pētījuma gaitā, to rezultāti interpretēti, statistiski apstrādāti un vizualizēti analīzei. Rezultātu izpēte ļauj secināt par pētījuma hipotēzes pierādījumu.

Pētījumā ir 70 lappuses, 19 pielikumi.

The diploma paper deals with the influence of teaching and mastering reading strategies on students’ reading comprehension in a secondary school.

The research consists of the theoretical study of pedagogical, linguistic and psychological issues; the basic principles of modern reading theories are explained. Reading is treated as psychological as well as a linguistic process. The theoretical part also presents findings on the origin, taxonomy of reading strategies and different approaches to their classification, as well as recommendations for introduction of reading strategies into EFL classes.

The practical part of the research paper gives a survey of the procedure of the study and integration of reading strategies into EFL classes. The didactic materials and instructions to perfect EFL reading comprehension are presented. The progress in EFL reading comprehension had been monitored during the study and its changes were treated statistically and graphically for further analysis. The analysis of the obtained results allows to conclude that the hypothesis has been validated.
