Nepieredzējušu tulku galvenās problēmas sinhronās tulkošanas procesā: identificēšana un risinājumi

Abstract

Diplomdarba nosaukums ir “Nepieredzējušu tulku galvenās problēmas sinhronās tulkošanas procesā: identificēšana un risinājumi”. Diplomdarba mērķis ir apskatīt un analizēt grūtības un piepūles veidus, ar kuriem tulki saskaras mutiskās tulkošanas laikā, identificēt šo grūtību izraisītās nepieredzējušu sinhrono tulku problēmas, kā arī meklēt iespējamos teorētiskos un praktiskos risinājumus, tādus kā izmantojamās tulkošanas stratēģijas. Diplomdarbs sastāv no ievada, divām nodaļām, secinājumiem, tēzēm, izmantotās literatūras saraksta un viena pielikuma. Darba pirmajā nodaļā analizētas grūtības un piepūles veidi, ko ietver mutiskā tulkošana, apskatīti iespējamie mutiskās tulkošanas problēmu cēloņi, identificētas nepieredzējušu tulku problēmas sinhronās tulkošanas laikā un sniegti teorētiski risinājumi norādītajām problēmām. Darba otrajā nodaļā aprakstīta autores personiskā pieredze, ievērojot mutiskās tulkošanas pamatlikumus, saskaroties un risinot ar valodu saistītas sinhronās tulkošanas problēmas, kā arī analizēti diplomdarba ietvaros veiktā pētījuma iegūtie dati. Diplomdarbs izstrādāts angļu valodā.

The title of the present diploma paper is “Main Problems for Novice Interpreters in Simultaneous Interpreting: Identification and Solutions”. The goal of the present diploma paper is to examine and analyse the difficulties and efforts interpreters face during interpreting; to identify problems of novice simultaneous interpreters that are caused by these efforts; and to seek for possible theoretical and practical solutions, which include coping techniques and use of interpreting strategies. The diploma paper consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusions, theses bibliography, and an annex. The first chapter deals with analysing difficulties and efforts of the interpreting process, looking at the possible causes for interpreting problems, identifying the problems that novice interpreters face during simultaneous interpreting and providing theoretical solutions for the given problems. The second chapter describes the author’s personal experience in observing basic rules of simultaneous interpreting, facing and solving language related problems during simultaneous interpreting, and analyses the data of the research that was carried out within the framework of the present study. The paper is written in English.
