Lietošanas instrukciju lingvistiskie un ekstralingvistiskie aspekti

Abstract

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt raksturīgākos lingvistiskos un ekstralingvistiskos aspektus tehnisko rakstu žanrā un salīdzināt ar to kā lasītāji uztver tehniskus tekstus. Pirmā nodaļa iepazīstina ar tehniskās rakstīšanas definīciju un formulē lietošanas instrukciju žanru. Otrā nodaļa pēta šim žanram raksturīgus un nozīmīgus tehniskās rakstīšanas leksiskos un gramatiskos līdzekļus. Trešā nodaļa apskata lietošanas instrukciju struktūru, noformējumu un vizuālo palīglīdzekļu izskatu. Ceturtā nodaļa apkopo aptaujās iegūtos rezultātus ar mērķi sniegt ieskatu lietošanas instrukciju lietderīgumā.

The purpose of this research paper is to investigate linguistic and extralinguistic aspects which are characteristic to the genre of technical writing and compare how the readers perceive technical texts. The first chapter introduces with the definition of technical writing and defines the genre of user manuals. The second chapter examines relevant lexical and grammatical means that are characteristic to the genre of technical writing in user manuals. The third chapter studies the organization, design and the look of visual aids in user manuals. The forth chapter summarizes the obtained results of the survey with an aim to give a view on the effectiveness of user manuals.
