Bruņniecības attēlojums Artūra laika romancēs un Kretjēna de Truā poēmā „Ratu bruņinieks vai Lanselots”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Bruņniecības attēlojums Artūra laika romancēs un Kretjēna de Truā poēmā „Ratu bruņinieks vai Lanselots””. Pētījuma mērķis ir pierādīt, ka trīs Artūra laika bruņiniekiem (Seram Gaveinam, Seram Iveinam un Seram Lanselotam) tiek piedēvētas tā laika ideālā bruņinieka īpašības, tādējādi apstiprinot, ka bruņniecība Artūra laika romancēs tiek idealizēta. Pētījumā tika izmantotas sekojošas metodes: vēsturiskais pētījums (lai gūtu priekšstatu par ideālā bruņinieka tēlu), kā arī satura analīze (lai salīdzinātu Sera Gaveina, Sera Iveina un Sera Lanselota tēlus ar ideālā bruņinieka tēlu). Pētījuma rezultāti apliecināja, ka Sers Gaveins tiek attēlots kā ideāls bruņinieks, ņemot vērā gan morālās, gan garīgās vērtības. Seram Lanselotam tiek piedēvēta ideālā bruņnieciskā mīlnieka loma, kamēr Sers Iveins tiek idealizēts kā cīnītājs. Tā kā visi šie aspekti ir savstarpēji saistīti, var apgalvot, ka visi minētie bruņinieki ir idealizēti viduslaiku bruņinieku tēli. The theme of the current bachelor thesis is “Representation of Knighthood in Arthurian Romances and Poem “Lancelot, or the Knight of the Cart” by Chrétien de Troyes”. The objective of the present research is to adduce evidence that three Arthurian knights (Sir Gawain, Sir Yvain, and Sir Lancelot) possess the qualities of perfect knights of their age, so one could conclude that knighthood in Arthurian romances is represented like an ideal. The following research methods are employed: the historical research (in order to create the image of an ideal medieval knight), and the content analysis (in order to compare the images of Sir Gawain, Sir Yvain, and Sir Lancelot with the image of an ideal knight). The results of the research show that Sir Gawain is an ideal knight from the points of view of religion and moral virtues; Sir Lancelot is perfect in courtly love relationship, and Sir Yvain is ideal in a battlefield. As all these aspects are interconnected, one can claim them being perfect knights of the Middle Ages. Key words: ideal knight, moral values, religion, battlefield, courtly love, Middle Ages
