Zusammenfassung
Diplomdarba mērķis ir pievērst uzmanību vizuālo uzskates līdzekļu būtiskajai lomai mācīšanas/mācīšanās procesā pamatskolas līmenī.
Darbā analizēta teorētiskā literatūra, kurā aplūkota vārdu krājuma apguves nozīme, vizuālo uzskates līdzekļu loma pozitīvas attieksmes veicināšanā jaunu vārdu apgūšanas procesā, skolotāja nozīme, kritēriji vizuālo uzskates līdzekļu izvēlei, plaša vārdu krājuma priekšrocības, kā arī kognitīvie uztveres stili.
Diplomdarbā izmantotota gan teorētiskā literatūra, gan arī autores veikts praktisks pētījums.
Galvenā pētījumā izmantotā metode ir eksperiments; tika izstrādātas un izmantotas arī anketas, kā arī eksperimentāli uzdevumi. Pētījumā iekļauta mērķa grupas novērošana. Rezultāti apliecina, ka vizualizācijas praktisks pielietojums veicina sekmīgu mācību vielas apgūšanu. Rezultāti ir apkopoti un uzskatāmi parādīti diagrammās.

The study of the methodological literature related to vocabulary acquisition as one of the important language aspects, the role of visual aids in developing positive attitude to vocabulary, the significant role of the teacher, the criteria in selecting visual aids, the advantages of wide vocabulary, cognitive styles.
The topic of the diploma paper Visual Aids in Teaching Vocabulary in Elementary Level was based not only on the theoretical literature as well as on the authors’ research results.
The research was focused on an experiment as the main research method, in addition it included designing and administration of questionnaire. Moreover, designing and administration of experimental tasks. The research was complemented by observation of target group. The research has displayed that using visualization in practice and achieved positive results. The results have been regularly summed up and presented graphically.
