Abstract

21. gadsimta skolēniem multikulturālā sabiedrībā ir nepieciešama mijkultūru kompetence. Šis gadsimts ir pārmaiņu laiks, kas ietekmē gan ekonomisko, gan sociālo dzīvi. Tas attiecas arī uz cilvēku izpratni par vērtībām. Mūdienās izglītībai ir svarīga loma, jo tā veidojas izpratne par vērtībām, mijkultūras kompetenci, kultūru un rāda attieksmi pret notikumiem un procesiem sabiedrībā. Diplomdarba”Mijkultūru izglītības metodes arodskolā’’mērķis ir noskaidrot praktisko pamatu teorētiskajām studijām par mijkultūras izglītības metožu lomu valodas stundās un šo metožu efektīva ieviešana arodskolā. Pētījuma metodes ir mijkultūru izglītības teorētiskā pamatojuma analītiska pētīšana, apkopojoša analīze par teorētiskajiem avotiem, apkopoto teorētisko ideju salīdzināšana, to izmēģināšana mācību stundās un secinājumu izveidošana, kā arī aptauju veidošana un analīze. Diplomdarba autore veicina ideju par to, ka ir būtiski skolā attīstīt mijkultūras izglītības metožu izmantošanu, jo tās attīsta valodas prasmes, ir vērtīgs avots valodas apguvei un mijkultūru kompetencei. Pētījuma rezultātā apstiprinājās, ka pastāvīgs mijkultūru izglītības aktivitāšu lietojums ietekmē mijkultūras izglītības procesu un padara to efekīvāku.

In the multicultural society of 21st century students need intercultural competence. This century is time of changes.It is reflected in economic, as well as social life. It applies to the people`s understanding of values too. Education plays an important role nowadays because a human makes a notion about the values, intercultural competence, culture and shows his attitude to the events and processes in the society. The goal of the diploma paper “Intercultural education methods at vocational school” is to provide practical support for the theoretical study of the role of using methods of intercultural education in the language classroom and to explore the effect of these methods at vocational school. The methods of the research are analytical study of the theoretical basis of intercultural education, summative analysis of theoretical sources, juxtaposition of the ideas selected from theory and tested in the classroom, drawing relevant conclusions, designing questionnaires and making analysis. The author of the diploma paper promotes the idea that it is essential to develop intercultural education methods at school. It is assumed that intercultural learning methods themselves develop language skills, and it is a valuable source for language learning and intercultural competence. The research is proved in a positive way that contant usage of provocative activities influenced the process of intercultural learning and make learning process more effective.
