Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Literatūra valodu studijās”, kas ir aktuāla, jo literatūra netiek pietiekami intensīvi iekļauta valodu studijās, kas pēc autores domām, nav pareizi un būtu jāmaina. Katras sabiedrības uzdevums ir saglabāt un attīstīt tās valodu, kas ir paveicams ar literatūras palīdzību. Lai gūtu panākumus, valodai vajadzētu tikt pasniegtai veidā, lai tā būtu interesanta studentiem. Darba mērķis ir gan akadēmisks, gan praktisks, proti, parādīt un paskaidrot, kāpēc valodu pasniedzējiem būtu jāizmanto literatūra valodu studijās tā, lai tā būtu stimulējošais elements valodu zināšanu līmeņa celšanā, kā arī izstrādāt un pasniegt lekciju, kas ar literatūras palīdzību ieinteresētu studentus valodu studijās un padarītu tās panākumiem bagātākas un interesantākas. Tāpēc darba hipotēze skan šādi: Atbilstoši pasniegta Literatūra pastiprina studentu interesi valodu studijās. Izmantojot teorētiskās un praktiskās metodes, darba autore tiecas sasniegt darba izvirzīto mērķi. Teorētiskā daļa ir pieejamās teorijas apskats, savukārt praktiskā daļa sastāv no studentu aptaujas, kā arī lekcijas plāna izstrādes un pielietošanas praksē un tā analīzes. Pēc darba uzrakstīšanas, darba autore secināja, lai valodu studijas būtu efektīvas, tām pirmām kārtām jābūt interesantām un motivējošām. Darbs sastāv no 69 lapām, 3 shēmām un 4 pielikumiem.

The theme of the Bachelor Paper is “Literature in Language Studies”. This issue is topical because of the fact that literature has not enough intensively been included in language study classes, which in author’s opinion is not right and should be changed. Concern of every society is to preserve and develop its language, which can be done through literature. To be a success, the language should be taught to students in an interesting manner. The goal of the BA Paper is both academic and practical, namely, to show how and why language teachers should introduce literature in language classes to make it a stimulating element in language proficiency enhancement as well as to develop and deliver a lecture which would get the students interested in language studies through literature and would make their studies more successful and interesting. Therefore, the hypothesis of the present research is: Literature enhances student’s interest in Language studies if adequately introduced. By using theoretical and practical methods, the author of the present research tries to achieve the goal of the research paper. Theoretical method is the survey of the available theory on the problem. Practical methods are questionnaires and interviews of the students, the development and delivering of a lecture. Finally, summing up of the obtained data and putting forward further suggestions. After gathering the information, the author of the present research came to the following conclusion. For language courses to be efficient, they first of all have to be interesting and stimulating. The Paper consists of 69 pages, 3 graphs and 4 appendices.
