Drāmas elementu izmantošana angļu valodas mācīšanā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ar nosaukumu “Drāmas elementu izmantošana angļu valodas mācīšanā” tiek analizēts drāmas elementu pielietojums angļu valodas stundās, izceļot tā daudzās priekšrocības. Šī darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka drāmas elementu izmantošana ir efektīvs un saistošs angļu valodas kā svešvalodas mācīšanas veids, galvenokārt strādājot ar bērniem. Šis mērķis tiek sasniegts ar teorijas analīzes palīdzību un drāmas elementu pielietošanu praksē ar bērnu grupu vecumā no desmit līdz divpadsmit gadiem. Bakalaura darba uzdevums ir ilustrēt drāmas tehniku izmantošanu, mācot bērnus, balstot aktivitātes uz teorētiskajiem materiāliem, kas atspoguļoti darba pirmajā daļā. Darba autore analizē drāmas elementu praktisko pielietošanu angļu valodas stundās, veicot saistītus secinājumus. Drāmas izmantošana angļu valodas stundās var būt aizraujošs un neaizmirstams, kā arī valdzinošs process gan skolotājam/ai, gan bērniem.

The Bachelor paper under the title “The Use of Drama in English Language Teaching” analyses the application of drama elements in the English classroom, bringing out its various benefits. The aim of this research is to prove that drama is an effective and captivating way of English as a foreign language teaching, especially while working with children. This objective is achieved through the analysis of the theoretical material and the practical application of drama activities with a group of children aged ten to twelve. The purpose of the Bachelor paper is to illustrate the process of using drama techniques with children, basing the activities on the theory provided in the first chapter of the present research. The author aims at analysing the practical application of the drama activities in the English classroom, making relevant conclusions. The use of drama in English classes can be an exciting and unforgettable, as well as very appealing process for both the teacher and the learners.
