Mērķis:apkopot Acne vulgaris epidemioloģiskos datus Latvijā un veikto tās ārstēšanu. Metodes:pētījuma dati tika iegūti, analizējot anketu rezultātus. Statistiskajā analīzē lietots Mann-Whitney U tests.Rezultāti:Latvijas pilsētās kopējais pacientu skaits, kas vērsušies pie ārsta ar Acne vulgaris 2011. gadā bija 3 299. Biežāk slimo sievietes 60,3%. Viegla Acne vulgaris forma sastopama 51,1%. Pacientu vidējais skaits gada laikā Rīgā ir 99 un Latvijas reģionos 193 (p=0,08). No vietējās terapijas līdzekļiem dermatologi visplašāk lieto vieglai formai 78% gadījumu benzilperoksīdu. No vispārējās terapijas visplašāk lieto smagai formai 75% gadījumu izotretinoīnu (Roaccutane).Secinājumi: No vietējās terapijas līdzekļiem biežāk vieglai formai dermatologi izvēlas benzilperoksīdu. Pie vidējas un smagas Acne vulgaris formas no vispārējās terapijas līdzekļiem biežāk lietoto izotretinoīnu (Roaccutane) kopā ar vietējās terapijas līdzekli BPO+klindamicīnu (Duac). Aim: to gather Acne vulgaris epidemiologic data in Latvia and to perform its therapy.Mathods: the data of the research was gathered by analysing the results of the questionnaire. Results: The results from Latvian towns show that the total number of patients - Acne vulgaris in 2011 was 3 299.Most frequently women are suffering from the disease which is 60,3%.Light form of Acne vulgaris is present in 51,1%. The average number of patients within one year in Riga is 99 and in Latvian regions 193 (p=0.08). The most often used local means of therapy are the following: for light form – 78% cases benzoyl peroxide.The most often used systemic therapy means of therapy are the following:severe form – 75% cases isotretinoin (Roaccutane). Conclusions: The most common means of local therapy for light form chose is benzoyl peroxide. For moderate and severe form of Acne vulgaris the most common means of systemic therapy are isotretinoin together with the local therapy product BPO+clindamycin.
