Abstract

Mūsdienu straujā laikmeta neatņemama sastāvdaļa ir – stress, neregulāra ēšana, ilgstoša sēdēšana pie datora, mazkustīgums, biežās kafijas pauzes rada organismam lieku slodzi, kā rezultātā rodas nepatīkami simptomi gremošanas orgānos. Bakalaura darba tēma izvēlēta un izstrādāta, vadoties no pieredzes strādājot ģimenes ārsta praksē. Bakalaura darba hipotēze - pacientiem ir nepietiekošas zināšanas un informētība par gastroezofageālo atviļņa slimību. Bakalaura darba mērķis – noskaidrot pacientu informētību, zināšanas par gastroezofageālo atviļņa slimību. Pētījuma veikšanai tika izmantota kvantitatīvā pētniecības metode. Pētījuma instruments – anketa. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka respondentu zināšanas ir pietiekamas, bet satraukumu izraisa tas, ka šī zināšanas netiek izmantotas savas veselības uzturēšanā. Pacientiem ir izveidojusies vienaldzīga attieksme pret savu veselību. Atslēgas vārdi: gastroezofageālais atvilnis, reflukss, regurgitācija, zināšanas, informētība.

Stress, sedentary lifestyle, irregular meals, countless coffee breaks and long hours in front of computer are all an integral part of a fast paced modern society. All this puts our bodies under an excessive stress, which in its turn causes unpleasant symptoms in digestive organs. The definition and elaboration of the theme of Bachelor Paper is based on the experience acquired over many years working as a Generalist practice’s nurse. The hypotheses of the Bachelor Paper – patients have insufficient awareness and knowledge of reflux oesophagitis disease. The aim of the Bachelor Paper is to determine the patients’ level of awareness and knowledge of reflux oesophagitis disease. For the research the quantitative method was used with a questionnaire as a research tool. The results of research show that respondents’ knowledge is sufficient, but the fact that this knowledge is not used for the benefit of personal health is alarming.
