| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba „Laikrakstu DIENA un NRA pirmās lappuses ziņas – to struktūra, avoti un tematika 9. Saeimas priekšvēlēšanu laikā” izpētes objekts ir ziņas, kuras pētītas laikā, kad primāri laikrakstu dienas kārtībā uzmanība tiek pievērsta politiskiem procesiem. Kopumā pētījums aptver vairāk nekā 500 pirmo lappušu ziņas. Ar kontentanalīzes un rāmējumu analīzes palīdzību tiek noskaidrots, kādas ir abu laikrakstu ziņas, to galvenā tematika, izmantotie avoti, sastāvdaļas, kā arī konstatētas būtiskākās atšķirības un to iemesli. Ņemot vērā, ka bieži vien abi laikraksti vēsta par līdzīgiem notikumiem, bet atšķiras lietotie uzsvari, noteiktas arī galvenās rāmējuma iezīmes un to iespējamie iemesli, kā arī noskaidrots, kādas ziņas nonāk šo laikrakstu pirmajās lappusēs. Tādējādi tiek atainoti pastāvošie procesi mediju vidē, identificētas galvenās tendences un atšķirības lielākajos laikrakstos.

| dc.description.abstract | The research object of the Bachelor’s paper „News of the front pages of the newspapers DIENA and NRA – their structure, sources and topics during the pre-election season of the 9th Saeima” are news investigated while current attention of newspapers is primarily paid to political processes. The research contains more than 500 front-page news of in total. By means of content analysis and framing it is clarified what news contain both newspapers, the major topics thereof, sources used, components, as well as the most essential differences and their reasons found. Taking into account that both newspapers often report about similar events, but accentuation is different, the main characteristics of framing are determined, as well as possible reasons thereof. Also it is clarified what news arrive on the front pages of these newspapers. Thus the existing processes in media environment are reflected, the major tendencies and differences among the biggest newspapers identified.
