Pagasta bibliotēkas integrācija VVBIS: vietējo resursu veidošana, attīstība un izmantošana

Abstract

Latvijas pagastu bibliotēkās ir uzkrāti novadpētniecības materiāli, kurus var izmantot tikai lokāli. Nenodrošinot novadpētniecības materiālu elektronisku meklēšanu un pieejamību globālajā tīmeklī, tie diemžēl arī turpmāk būs tikai lokāli lietojami. Latvijas pagastu bibliotēku attīstību kvalitatīvi veicinājusi VVBIS realizācija. Pēdējos 2-3 gados IKT novadpētniecības darbā izmanto 49% Latvijas pagastu bibliotēku. Tiek veidotas novadpētniecības elektroniskās datubāzes ar RGB atbalstu vai patstāvīgi un dažādas galerijas interneta vidē. Pētījuma dati ļauj secināt, ka pagastu bibliotēkas ir sākušas jaunu pakalpojumu piedāvājumu globālajā tīmeklī, kuru vēlas un māk izmantot aptuveni puse no bibliotēkas novadpētniecības materiālu lietotājiem.

The libraries of the civil parishes of Latvia have been stocked up with local history materials for local use only. Unless electronic search and access to the local history materials in the global Net is available, the materials will unfortunately remain only locally usable. The implementation of SULIS has remarkably advanced the development of libraries in the civil parishes of Latvia. Lately, 49% of the local libraries use information and communication technologies in the local history studies. Electronic data bases of local history have been and different galleries in the Net have been created. The findings of the research show that libraries of civil parishes have started offering a new service in the global Net, which is available to about a half of those users of local history materials who wish and are able to employ this service.
